2004 The Beginning
After two decades with multinational corporations, Mr. Sankar Nair as Partner in Blue Moon Foodstuff Trading LLC, Dubai, laying the foundation for a professionally managed international procurement organization.
2006 Birth of Moon Shine
The business was rebranded as Moon Shine General Trading LLC, specializing in Building & Construction Materials. During the 2007-2009 global recessin, the company successfully supported customers and suppliers in stabilizing procurement and import operations.
2009 Expanding Horizons
Established Moon Shine Building Material Trading LLC, Dubai, strengthening spcialization in Building & Construction Materials while building lon-term partnerships across the Middle East.
2011 Strategic Diversification
Expanded beyond trading by advising manufacturers, distributors and stockists on regional expansion, market development and supply chain strategies.
2014 Digital Vision
Conceptualized OPTIME, an operational platform integrating multinational corporate expertise and entrepreneurial best practices to improve procurement efficiency.
2018 Strengthening Our Foundation
Established Pax Global Moon Shine (P) Limited, Vadodara, India, creating a centralized process center for sourcing, supplier coordination, documentation and customer support, while progressively expanding our business presence into African markets.
2020 TradeALLY™ ERP
Launched TradeALLY™, integrating technology, market intelligence, standardized processes and operational transparency across the procurement lifecycle. The platform continues to evolve through ongoing enhancements to meet the changing need of international procurment and global trade.

Strengthened organizational capabilities through investments in people, advanced technology, global customs intelligence, commodity market analytics, SOP-driven operations and strategic expansion into African markets.
2025 New Horizons
Expanded regional presence through Moon Shine Gulf Trading WLL, Doha, Qatar, together with a strategic base in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, enabling High-Sea Sales capabilities, faster procurment support and improved responsiveness for repeat customer requirements.

Moon Shine Group was founded by Mr. Sankar Nair, a Post Graduate in Commerce and an entrepreneur with more than two decades of professional experience gained while serving multinational organizations across India, Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman and UAE, combined with over two decades of entrepreneurial experience in international trade and business development.
Recognizing the increasing demand for reliable Building & Construction Materials and the growing complexities associated with international procurement, he gradually transformed the business into a professionally managed procurement, sourcing and trade execution organization focused on delivering greater value, transparency, risk mitigation and execution support to customers.
His vision has always been to build an organization where technology, disciplined processes, market intelligence and long-term relationships work together to help customers achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness.
